Possible biopsy: Many people have thyroid issues and have ultrasounds that can show a multitude of issues. Most findings are benign and typically are cysts. Biopsies are done routinely for solid nodules to make sure they are benign or not. You may require some thyroid replacement but thyroid blood tests are also required. She your primary or an endocrinologist since they specialize in thyroid issues. Good luck
