There are genetic components to the lipid profile. The rest of your numbers look like you are diet-controlling quite well. It may be that a medication would be needed to get the LDL lower so you should talk to your doctor to find out if medication is now indicated to get this number lower. This decision would be influenced by the rest of your clinical history and your cardiovascular risk factors.
