If you are still experiencing pain two weeks after receiving a steroid shot for bursitis on the bottom of your foot, there are several things you can do to help manage your symptoms and continue working: rest, ice and pain relievers, and follow up with your healthcare provider.

It sometimes can happen if the bursa sac is missed. We’re you given the diagnosis? Cortisone treats the symptom only not the cause. It is unfortunate the injection did not help relieve your pain. You can try supportive shoes. Or OTC supports. The most common bursa sac on bottom of the foot injected with cortisone is usually from plantar fasciitis. Recommend seeing a podiatrist.
