A member asked:

Pain under heel for a year when walking. mri negative for bursitis, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, thin fat pad, pinched nerve. what else could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Achilles' tendon: If plantar fasciitis or,other pathology is not found, I would check the Achilles' tendon insertion, and have your gait assessed. You may have an accentuated heel strike that irritates this area. Orthotics should be used to help, off weight this area
