I got a metal door dropped on my foot at work over a week ago, it's still swollen and painful to walk on or touch. doctors said it wasn't broken but could there be another issue or just give it more time?

Foot trauma: Sometimes a fracture isn't apparent initially. If you are still in pain 2-3 weeks after the injury, it may be worth having your foot reassessed with a repeat XR that may show healing changes in a bone. All the best. It sounds like a painful injury.
