I had yellow fluid dripping from my left nostril 5-6 times in 3 years. i had it tested for 'csf sugar and protein levels' as recommended by an ent doctor. results: csf-sugar at 37.5 mg/dl and csf-protein at 9660 mg/dl. what could be the cause?

These are abnormal findings and should be interpreted with other findings. Best that you have the ordering doc explain these to you
