I get yellow liquid dripping out of one nostril every once in a while and its happened for years. i have to either blow my nose until i get the chunky yellow out of let it drip down my throat. going to an ent soon but wanted to see if any ideas?

Most likely intermittent drainage of sinusitis, either infected or allergic. You're doing the right thing in seeing an otolaryngologist. Good luck.
