Low potassium diet: Avoid potatoes, tomato sauce, squash, oranges, bananas. But, it is important to know why your potassium is high? Kidney disease? Medications? You did not mention your creatinine level. Check with your doctor. It is likely that you are taking ace inhibitors like lisinopril, other ....Prils? Also if you have swelling, cautious water pill use can be a safe way to decrease potassium levels.
