I have a infection bite and my doctor prescribed me cephalxin 500 m and i smoke weed daily but i didnt tell my doctor and now im worried that since today i smoked and take it tomorrow that it will effect me?

There is no interaction between cephalexin and marijuana. By the way, if you are concerned about your health that much why you use marijuana which is bad for your physical and mental health. Please stop it. Take care.

Smoking marijuana daily is not a healthy habit-it can definitely cause lung disease long-term. But, it is not likely to alter the effectiveness of the antibiotic that you are taking for your skin infection, if that is your question. It may take longer for the skin to heal so perhaps you can abstain from the marijuana at least until your infection resolves. See your doctor for help quitting.
