I have had a sinus infection for months; my doctor had prescribed me amoxicillin and cephalexin, and both had helped but had not completely gotten rid of the infection. i'm now on doxycycline; should i take it? will it help?

It may but it sounds like your sinuses may be blocked. If doxycycline does not clear it up see an ENT doctor for further evaluation and studies of your sinus system - MRI or CT to see if you have clogged sinuses.
