This would not be a good reason to take this tranquilizer which is habit forming and has side effects. Have you been evaluated by a physician to determine why your appetite isn't good?

Xanax or alprazolam is a benzodiazepine used for a variety of symptoms, not as an appetite booster. There might be a different drug prescribed for that reason, call your current prescriber’s office to confirm.
