I have patella alta, hoffa's syndrome, and lateral patella tilt. i went to see an orthopedic doctor and she gave me two surgery options . the 1st option is just knee fat pad trimming and 2nd option is a mpfl repair. what surgery do you recommend?

You have to ask your doctor what primary problem causes your knee symptoms then you can decide what procedure you should go with. Fat pad trimming is for hoffa's syndrome and MPFL repair is for lateral patela tilt. I ain't sure if you truly have 2 conditions at the same time. If your knee problem is due to an accident or a trauma, lateral patela tilt is more likely the primary etiology. Good luck.
