People often suffer from insomnia (lack of sleep) under stress &/or anxiety rather than sleepiness. Your question is not clear so I do not know if you have uni or bilateral hydronephrosis. If you truly have bilateral hydronephrosis, AKI with severe uremia can happen and somnolence and sleepiness may be present. If that is the case, you need to be hospitalized for immediate intervention. Good luck.

The sleepiness is not from your hydro-nephrosis. Anxiety too does not cause it. Get good sleep (8hrs) at night. Hydronephrosis may or may not be accompanied by renal damage. have your doc/ Urologist explain that. Good luck
