My doctor gave me azithromycin for a step throat. however, it and the mucus drainage is giving me a lot of nausea. i have promethazine left over from a surgery in march. would i be able to take a 25mg tablet once every 6 hours as needed?

Taking the promethazine is fine. You can also use TUMs to settle your stomach as well and Mucinex which you can buy over the counter and comes in generic form - just ask the pharmacist where it is. Best of luck!
