Why do i have trouble swallowing? i cant eat any type of chip or cracker it gets stuck in my throat. had a barium done but found nothing. been happening for 5 months. i can only eat things like mash potatoes and liquids?

You need to talk to a gastroenterologist about further testing. A barium swallow is not sufficient.

There can be many different reasons that food feels as though it is sticking in your esophagus (dysphagia).
