i had a barium swallow. no gastro reflux but said unusual appearance of upper esoph. should i b freakin out?endoscop needed 100%? i do a lot of throat clearing i am going on vaca soon what should i do

Abnormal Esophagus: It sounds like you may have something hampering your upper GI tract, which might explain the throat sx. This could be a so-called "web" or an infection or growth, or something else. An endoscopy should be performed. Check with your gastroenterologist to see if you can delay the procedure until after your trip, but i would heed your doctor's advice on this.
