My doctor told me that my nodes feel fine and that they are likely fellable due to my slim build. but why would she have said likely because what else could this be? if a node is below 1cm then cant it only be feelable due to a slim build?

You asked this question before. Lymph nodes smaller than 1 cm can be normally felt in some anatomic locations even in people of average body size. Please note that nothing is 100% certain in medicine so we commonly use the term "likely" or "most likely" when describing an almost certain finding. You should not worry much, trust your doctor.

Yes, lymph nodes are palpable in some individuals and normal, trust your doc, increase your level of physical activities that should help with your health related anxiety.

Hi there, Over the last 5 months I've lost around 30 lbs of weight. As my body is slimmer, I noticed a small lump in my groin area about 4/5 inches below belly button. I'm not sure if it was there and I did not notice because of the extra fat. Either way, did some research and have narrowed down symptom to inguinal hernia.
