A member asked:

My doctor told me that my lymph nodes feel fine. i have pea sized nodes in my neck, jaw and other locations. i've had them for 3 years without change and i've no symptoms of lymphoma. why are these nodes feelable? is it just because im slim?

Yes, lymph nodes are palpable in some individuals and normal, trust your doc, increase your level of physical activities that should help with your health related anxiety.

All of us normally have small lymph nodes. These are small, generally less than 5mm(pea sized) and not palpable unless you are thin and have no fat under the skin.. The nodes can enlarge due to infections in the throat... which is a relatively common event. So your nodes are normal as they are not enlarged as they have not increased in size over 3 years. So you can ignore them and not worry about
