Recurrent c difficile infections can occur in 40% of persons who develop an initial c diff infection. If Antibiotics and FMT have both failed to prevent recurrent C Difficile, your Dr may be able to enroll you in one of several trials that are ongoing at this time. Talk to your Gastroenterologist or Infectious Disease specialist for further steps.
