Unnecessary: The sexual organs are resistant to infectious process and the break in the barriers related to loss of virginity is no exception. This assumes your partner was free of known illness. It is a good idea for hygiene and pregnancy prevention to consider the use of condoms.

Know your partner: If you know your partner and his/her sexual history, then you know the answer to your question. Losing virginity in and of itself is perfectly normal and no reason to need antibiotics. If your partner has std's though, you could develop one if no condom was used. Unless you are in a long-term monogamous relationship where you are sure your partner and their past ones are infection free, use condom.
