Hi i took a 7 day course of nitrofurantoin for a suspected uti. i conducted a sti test during the course of nitrofurantoin which tested negative - would the nitrofurantoin have altered my results?

Duplicate question -- unless someone else asked the exact same thing a few days ago. Nitrofurantoin is inactive against all STD bacteria and viruses and will not alter test results.

UTI ua showed blood at level 3+. After 2 days on ciprofloxacn, blood level was 1+. Now on day 5 and home ua test strip shows moderate blood. I have 2 1/2 days left on cipro. Culture was neg but had been on nitrofurantoin. Should I be concerned?
This is regarding my partner (23/f). She has been treating UTI symptoms for 3 weeks with no change. She had 4 urine samples all came back negative. Tried Trimethoprim for a week and Nitrofurantoin for 3 days. Can't sleep from the pain?
