My mother is 62 years old and has closed angle glaucoma, at this time she has a pretty bad cough with phlegm. is there a cough medicine with phlegm that is safe for closed-angle glaucoma sufferers?

She can take cough syrup which contains morphine-derivative drug such as dextromethorphan or codeine. If she needs antibiotic, she should not take tetracycline and bactrim (septra).
