May suggest allergie: Most common cause of cough is post nasal drip/seasonal allergic rhinitis, followed by cough asthma and gerd depending on the age. Itchiness in the throat or a tickle is a symptom of allergies/post nasal drip. Try nasal saline spray, try allergy pill and see doc if not improved.
