A member asked:

I have ear tubes (myringotomy) and they still feel like they need to pop. every time i swallow i hear clicking. can my eustachian tube be the issue and not the grommet? i can blow air through the grommet so it isnt clogged?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Jaw movement or swallowing straightens the Eustachian tube allowing it to open & air pass easier. The opening of the tube is often noticed by a mild click. It is not a worrisome symptom.
