The most likely culprit is the anesthetic injections that may have irritated the muscles in that area. It will pass.

Most dental treatment is surgical, including the procedures you described bed. Surgical sites, including local anesthesia needle tracts. It should continue to heal, a little more every day. see your Dentist for a status check.
