Gi doctor says i have esophagitis upper esophagus. gerd related. was on prilosec for 1 month. now on nexium for 3 months. doesn't explain swollen back of neck. gi agrees non-related. posterior cervical region. lymph nodes? any suggestions?

You may need either a CT scan or MRI of your neck to determine why you have swelling there. It could be lymph node related but this should be apparent when a doctor examines the area. So, an imaging study would likely reveal the etiology of the swelling so the proper treatment can be pursued. Good luck to you!
