Back of neck is swollen and lumps (posterior cervical region). suspect may be lymph node issue. urgent care suggested ct scan. i already had mri of neck. but they said it's wrong test. what type of ct scan is needed?

There is a specific CT scan evaluating the soft tissues of the neck, including lymph nodes, thyroid area that the physician can order. This can be more diagnostic than an MRI of the area.
