Long term proton pump inhibitors use (pantoprazole and others) have been showed in different studies to be associated to c diff colitis. There are treatments ( first line and newer) not listed on your extensive list of antibiotics you are allergic to. Use of pantoprazole should be time limited in order to prevent onset of c diff colitis.
