There may have been no need for treatment. Ureaplasma urealyticum is a normal bacteria in the genital tract; some strains can cause nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) in men, but no symptoms or disease is known in women. You can expect a future UU test to be positive again; it almost always comes back. Doxy doesn't "interfere" with STD testing, except by curing true STDs like chlamydia.
