I have almost all symptoms for a dental abscess but its a no show on the x-ray. been like this for 1 year (yes very painful) but 8 dentists cant tell whats wrong. does x-ray always show a dental abscess?

Not a dentist, could be root canal disease and dental nerve neuralgia. Is tooth sensitive to hot or cold?

Previous trauma resulting in nerve necrosis, crown and/or root fracture, hyper occlusion, malocclusion, pernicious habits, etc. Please see root canal specialist, an Endodontist, or a specialist Oral Pathologist.
