Abscessed tooth: I'm not sure i understand your question but, a tooth cleaning usually does not hurt unless you have severe recession, inflamed gums, excessive calculus (bacteria). An abscess infection if not draining can build up pressure and be very painful. See you dentist for an evaluation and treatment.
