A member asked:

A doctor has provided 1 answer

MRI abnormalities of the sacroiliac joint are divided into acute and chronic inflammation. Your findings appear to be from chronic inflammation of that joint. It could be from injury, wear and tear or, in your age group, from rheumatoid arthritis even though only one side is affected. A rheumatologist is best to sort this out for you. Any testing deemed appropriate will be ordered.
