Had mri of tmj both sides due to jaw pain. surgeon said joints were slightly compromised. what does this mean exactly please ?

Ask the Surgeon: "Compromised" can refer to one or more of a number of aberrations, not all of which require treatment. Ask the Surgeon to point out to you exactly what he/she is seeing on the images obtained.
