My best friend has diverticulitis and has been on antibitics for eight days. she says that when she is walking she can feel something moving in that area. i am very concerned as she is never like this and it hurts her too could that be inflammation?

Depending on age most likely a big lump of crap in colon. Called an impaction. A rectal exam will likely feel it.
