Is it ok to take immodium for watery diarrhoea during a flare up of uncomplicated diverticulitis? it's the 4th day of antibiotics and the diarrhoea is making me feel worse. i'm not concerned about constipation as it has never happened to me?

This question should be addressed to the treating doc as the cause of diarrhea could be the antibiotic or part of the diverticulitis for he/ she knows your problem best. Hope you feel better
