Yes.: Both are fairly sensitive for detecting diverticulits. Ct colongraphy is used primarly to detect polyps and masses.

Yes, more accurate: And will be very good for detecting diverticulosis, the air they inflate your colon with makes the difference. Regular ct is better for inflammation, including diverticulitis.
