The home self tests for UTI are very sensitive for WBC (leukocytes), and even small and normal numbers sometimes give a positive result. If you have no symptoms, you can rely on the urine culture and can be confident you have no UTI. Discuss with your doctor if you remain uncertain or concerned about it.

Hi I had a urine test and had positive leukocyte esterase. No other symptoms. Can it mean anything other than a UTI or could it be lab error?
