Positive leukocytes on home uti test even though urine culture at dr was negative. why?

The home self tests for UTI are very sensitive for WBC (leukocytes), and even small and normal numbers sometimes give a positive result. If you have no symptoms, you can rely on the urine culture and can be confident you have no UTI. Discuss with your doctor if you remain uncertain or concerned about it.
