A member asked:

Are home uti tests accurate? what if i'm positive for leukocytes at home but negative for urine culture?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fairly accurate: White blood cells can appear in the urine for many reasons, including bladder infection, irritation of the urethra, inflammation of the bladder (cystitis), genital rashes or inflammation due to hygiene issues or retained debris.
