Tooth sensitivity is uncommon at your age and you have recently used a new toothpaste formula so your suspicion is probably true. Easy to figure it out by stopping that new product and reusing the old toothpaste. If the sensitivity goes away within days, you are correct. Otherwise, see your dentist if the symptom persists. Good luck!

The toothpaste should not make any of your teeth sensitive. Are all your teeth sensitive or just one tooth? The most common cause of tooth sensitivity is a carious lesion. If its been more than six months since your last check-up with radiographs, now is the time to make an appointment with your dentist.
