Contact DDS: Have the dentist examine all her teeth and check for caries with radiographs. Have sealants put on the new teeth as soon as possible to avoid biting surface decay.

Post operative pain: Depending on how long ago the extraction took place, the sensitivity may now be from the actual extraction procedure.

Several: The tissue could be still sore from the removal or from the new tooth coming in. Your daughter is focused on the area and may be extra aware of it. Give it two weeks to calm down and see your dentist if it still hurts after that.

Specialist: Please schedule your child with a pediatric dental specialist, a Pedodontist, for all the same reasons that most children see a Pediatrician rather than a GP. May be a space issue, or an allergic response, or any one of numerous other problems. See a Pedodontist.
