I have a thyroidectomy on the 31st but first i need to be cleared by a neurologist tomorrow because i had seizures before due to lack of a certain med. will i be cleared for surgery if they find it was only a meds induced seizure? what shld i say?

Need clarification. Did you take an anti-epileptic medicine that you stopped? Or did you receive a medication that induced a seizure? Or was this secondary to the use of a recreational drug? Regardless, fully discuss the event with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and be fully forthcoming. We will not be able to clear you here. Your local doctor is needed.
