I was scheduled for a thyroid tumor removal 1/9 but because i had a seizure the anesthetist didn't want to put me to sleep, so my question is, was that a legitimate concern of his and will me seeing a neurologist clear me for surgery?

The "seizure" takes precedence, and unless your doctor clarifies the etiology and provides appropriate preventive measures, would suggest delaying the tumor removal, at this time. Currently, avoid driving, activities at heights, use of power equipment, swimming or bathing alone.
