If your present neurologist ask you if you would get brain surgery is that a good idea? no he can't pin point the seizures

Epilepsy/surgery: It depends what type of surgery. For example if seizures are not controlled well then vagal nerve stimulater placement can reduce 50% seizure. Temporal lobectomy in selected cases is helpful. You may see an epilepsy specialist in a university center.
