My meds for epilepsy still not responding to my seizures can a neurologist refused surgery?

Second opinion: Get a second opinion about your medications. There are some forms of epilepsy that are not amenable to surgery so it is possible that the neurologist would not recommend surgery.

Epilepsy surgery: Epilepsy surgery is normally done in a case when medicines are not working and there is a good chance that surgery would help. Normally people have found 2-3 medicines are not helping before they consider this. Epilepsy surgery requires many tests to confirm the origin of the seizures. People with generalized epilepsy should not have epilepsy surgery, with rare exceptions. VNS is an exception
