Eliquis is quite safe. There are patients who take this medication long-term, for years, without any difficulty. Monitor for any bleeding-most patients don’t experience bleeding but it is a side-effect. Good luck to you and your dad!!

Is it normal for catheterized patient to have small amount of rbc like 6 to 8 per hpf in urine routine test? My dad was catheterized due to infection and prostatomegaly now the infection is in control but in urine routine after 10 days rbc was seen.
Been home 6 wks due to dad being high risk for COVID. Need to see dentist but all are resuming normal hours & I don't feel safe having to be in waiting rm/ofc w/multiple other patients @ same time. What should I do? Concerned abt exposure for me/dad.
