Is it normal for catheterized patient to have small amount of rbc like 6 to 8 per hpf in urine routine test? my dad was catheterized due to infection and prostatomegaly now the infection is in control but in urine routine after 10 days rbc was seen.

RBC in urine: Most catheterized persons have a few RBCs in their urine. This is normal and nothing to worry about.
