My doctor prescribed moxifloxacin 400mg taken once daily for 10 days because the levaquin 750mg which i took for 10 days didn't work for my bacterial sinusitis. i'm feeling better with moxifloxacin. how come levaquin didn't work?

Two main possibilities. First, some of the bacteria responsible for your sinusitis were more susceptible to moxi than levo. Second, and maybe most likely, is that your sinusitis was about to start improving anyway, in which case the drug switch made little difference. It's impossible to know which. Either way, gald to hear you're feeling better!
