8 weeks, but some experts say 12 weeks. But HIV2 is so rare in the US that it doesn't matter. It accounts for under one in 10,000 HIV infections, with most of those in people who were infected in Africa or their long-time sex partners. It rarely is responsible for HIV after a one-off exposure.
