HIV Testing: Not sure where this comes from. This seems like old testing techniques. The most common acute and accurate testing is called the duo test. Here the antibody and the HIV specific p-29 antigen are tested together. This test can be 95% accurate by twelve weeks post exposure. The better, but more expensive, HIV RNA or dna testing can be accurate at 21 days post exposure.
