You form liquid poop when the colon does not extract as much water as it is supposed to. This can occur with various viruses that attack the intestines, with or without other symptoms. It may happen with certain foods. Any bloody poop would suggest a bacterial infection as a cause.

Occasional diarrhea is not uncommon. It could be related to something you ate, a viral illness, or some kind of inflammation in your digestive tract. Initially, something as simple as increasing amount of fiber in your diet often helps. Be sure to drink lots of liquids when you do this. If that does not solve the problem, see your doctor or a gastroenterologist. Good luck.
